The new "Classic Car Auction 2010-2011 Yearbook" by Adolfo Orsi and Raffaele Gazzi, published by Historica Selecta, covers the most important auctions organized in the world from 1st August 2010 to 31st July 2011.
It is a lavish hard-bound 320 page book, English text, which covers 3.933 cars of 278 different Makes, illustrated by 880 colour and b/w photos.
Each car is listed with the most significant data: year, model, bodybuilder, chassis number, estimate, hammer price (in £, US$ and €), sale date and place, lot number and auction house; a short description, taken out from the sale catalogue, gives the reader the possibility to understand the different prices achieved by examples of the same model with respect to the specific history and condition.
Considered by many "The Bible in the field", the Yearbook contains graphs and statistics, of the last 18 Classic Car auction seasons, concerning the Top 100 cars of each year, the most coveted Makes, countries and periods, total auction sales turnover, percentage of cars sold, average price achieved by some iconic models and a deeper examination of the Ferrari market.
Moreover, the first chapter of the book it dedicated to the market analysis by the representatives of the most important auction houses.
The Yearbook is sponsored by Credit Suisse as part of their commitment in the international classic car scene.
