Hockenheimring, 21 October 2012, local time 15 clock and 11 minutes: Welcomed by a huge fireworks fountains and in front of the packed grandstands with enthusiastic spectators is checkered Schnitzer with the famous black and white checkered flag after 42 laps of the Franco-Canadian Bruno Spengler in the BMW M3 DTM team. In a heart-stopping, the BMW Schnitzer-Pilot won the final critical race for the DTM. And not only that: With this victory, he secured himself and his team winning the championship. What a brilliant comeback for BMW and for half a century in international motorsport, successful, sympathetic team led by Herbert Schnitzer and Charly and Dieter lamb.
