Carrozzeria Riva has a long history, from the middle of the nineteenth century until the '70s . Founded as a manufacturer of carriages , then it became a major manufacturer of commercial vehicles , but had a very eclectic production , which has ranged from the estate car to advertising cars .

In the '50s competed with its sport at the best Italian coachbuilders of the time , standing out as excellent craftsmanship .
