Il Paradigma Scaglione

This book tries to capture the sense and evolution of the Franco Scaglione design a hundred years after his birth.
Through the analysis of his most significant projects and some of his writings he wanted to investigate the complex spirit, sometimes apparently contradictory of his work, his research and its aerodynamic applications and the role he played in the history of created and materialize the great age of Italian design in the automotive world. This analysis is carried out through the same stages of his work: the beginning, through the experience of collaboration with Bertone, the season as a professional, and finally concludes with the unfortunate experience with Frank Reisner at Intermeccanica.
