Launched in 2006, the GT3 racing category has proved a huge success story over its first two decades. It rapidly gained a foothold worldwide as more and more manufacturers purposely developed cars for the category and became adopted by an increasing number of national and international series. So far 23 manufacturers have been represented and thousands of GT3 cars have been built and sold.
