This championship, called "Interseries," admits the Group 5 cars (sports), 6 (sports-prototype) and 7 (two-seater racing). No limit on engine capacity is fixed, meaning that the potential pool of cars that can participate is huge. It includes all the machines listed in World Championship and the new 2 liters championship. But of course its objective is to attract the overpowered and so spectacular and noisy Gr.7 who distinguish themselves in the prestigious Can-Am Challenge.
